Terms of use

1. Product owner

AgeSquare is owned by Andrey Makarenkov, an individual in the Russian Federation. AgeSquare.app is the product name and domain. Contact: mail@agesquare.app.

2. Acceptance

By using AgeSquare, you confirm that you have read these terms and the privacy policy. If you disagree, stop using the service and delete local data if needed.

The current free version is not an offer to purchase a subscription, digital product, or other paid service. Payment terms will be provided separately before monetization.

3. Purpose

AgeSquare visualizes life in weeks and supports personal reflection and notes. One square represents one week.

AgeSquare does not predict life expectancy or provide medical, psychological, financial, legal, or other professional advice. You make your own decisions and seek qualified help when needed.

4. Local-first data

In guest mode, your birth date, settings, and entries stay on your device. When account features are available, you can sign in through Telegram or verified email and enable server sync separately. A guest journal is transferred only through a separate action. Processing is described in the privacy policy.

You control access to your device and backups. Clearing browser data, removing the app, reinstalling the operating system, or losing or damaging a device can permanently destroy data. JSON exports are available for backup.

5. Acceptable use

Do not disrupt the service, bypass technical restrictions, distribute malicious code, infringe third-party rights, or use AgeSquare unlawfully.

Do not impersonate the owner, use the name or visual materials to imply an official partnership, or distribute a modified product as AgeSquare without written permission from the rights holder.

6. Intellectual property

You retain rights to your journal text and other materials you create. Guest mode does not send them to the owner. Enabling sync instructs AgeSquare to process a server copy only for storage, recovery, and transfer between your devices. Publication and transfer to external AI services are not provided for.

Rights to original AgeSquare text, design, and code belong to Andrey Makarenkov to the extent provided by applicable law, except third-party components licensed under their own terms.

Legal protection of the AgeSquare name and AgeSquare.app domain depends on applicable law and any required registration. Using the service does not transfer rights to the product, its materials, or its name to you.

7. Service changes

AgeSquare is evolving and its interface and features may change. The owner may temporarily restrict access for maintenance, security, or compliance with legal requirements.

When the data format changes, the owner should preserve export compatibility where possible or provide a safe migration. You remain responsible for creating your own backups.

8. Liability

AgeSquare is provided in its current state. To the extent permitted by Russian law, the owner does not guarantee uninterrupted operation, an absence of errors, or preservation of local data in circumstances outside the owner's reasonable control.

These terms do not exclude liability that cannot legally be limited or excluded.

9. Governing law and requests

Russian Federation law governs these terms and the use of AgeSquare.

10. Updates

New editions are published here with a date. Material changes involving accounts, sync, or payments must be published before the relevant features launch.
